Triple-R-Superbike Team: Ray Clee

Ray Clee #36 Ray Clee #36 

Ray Clee first started racing a RZ350 beginning of the 90's. Raced in the 250 GP Production class from 1992-1995, won the NZ 250GP Production Championship in 1995. Over the next 4 years, Ray raced both here and in Australia, gaining valuable experience. He then started to race the Suzuki GSXR 1000's in 2000 and over the last few years has had some impressive results and also setting a number of new track lap records.

Ray is 35 and lives in Auckland, running a business called R.C.M Performance where he builds up race bikes for clients and also Suzuki New Zealand. He has a wife, Paula and a young daughter, Cassandra.

  • 2000/01 New Zealand Open Sports Production Suzuki GSXR 1000 K-1
    3rd overall and 1st in the New Zealand TT.
  • New Zealand 600 Sports Production Suzuki GSXR 600 K-1
    5th overall and 2nd in the New Zealand TT.
  • 2001/02 New Zealand Production Superbikes Suzuki GSXR 1000 K-1
    5th overall.
  • 2002/03 New Zealand Production Superbikes Suzuki GSXR 1000 K-2
    5TH overall and 2nd New Zealand GP.
  • 2003/04 New Zealand Production Superbikes Suzuki GSXR 1000 K-3
    2nd overall and 1st New Zealand TT, 2nd New Zealand GP.

  • 2005/2006 3rd New Zealand Superbike Championship, 1st New Zealand TT, 3rd New Zealand GP.
